Admission Application Procedure

The registration form may be submitted either: Manually OR Online.

Manual -  The offline form can be collected from the school office upon payment of the required registration fee. After filling out the form completely, it must be submitted to the school office. Upon submission, the school will issue an admit card, which will include details regarding the scheduled interaction/observation date.

Online -The online registration form is available on the official school website (www.tigps.in). Upon successful submission, each applicant will receive a unique user ID, which must be referenced for all future correspondence. The registration fee must be paid on the day of the interaction/observation. The date of interaction/observation will be communicated to the applicant via the registered mobile number and email ID.

Mere allotment of a user ID does not guarantee admission. Selection is based on the merit of the applicant and performance in the entrance examination. The school's decision regarding admission will be final.

The following documents need to the submitted during registration:

  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate, issued by the Kolkata Municipal Corporation/Municipality/Registrar, attested by a Gazetted Officer. (Affidavits or self-attested copies are not accepted.)
  • Photocopy of the latest report card from the last attended school. (Not applicable for Play Group, Nursery, and KG applicants.)
  • One stamp-sized photograph of the applicant.

For online applicants, these documents must be submitted on the day of interaction/observation.

The final list of selected students will be displayed on the school notice board and the official website. Selected candidates must complete the admission formalities within the stipulated time frame.

The following formalities need to be completed at the time of admission:

  • The admission form must be signed by both parents.
  • Fees must be paid within the due date via cash or demand draft.
  • The original birth certificate must be presented at the time of admission.

The following are the mandatory documents that need to be presented at the time of admission:

  • Four passport-size colored photographs of the student.
  • One passport-size photograph of each parent (Size: 3.5cm x 2.5cm).
  • Transfer Certificate (TC) from the previous school (not required for Play Group to Class I).
  • For students transferring from Class VIII onwards, the TC must be counter-signed by the District Education Officer/Regional Officer.

Refund policy:

  • The admission fee is non-refundable under any circumstance.
  • The security deposit may be refunded only if:
    1. A written request is submitted to the school authority within 30 days of admission and before the commencement of regular classes.
    2. The student has been admitted with all necessary documents.
  • No security deposit will be refunded if a student withdraws admission without submitting a written request within the stipulated time.
  • Outstanding dues will not be deducted from the security deposit.

Withdrawal policy: Students applying for a Transfer Certificate (TC) in the middle of the session, will be required to pay the full fees for the entire academic year.
